Italian luxury house Ferragamo held a press presentation at its flagship store on Apgujeong-ro in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the launch of its 2026 Spring/Summer collection.

The presentation spotlighted Ferragamo’s RTW collection and the House’s iconic Hug bag, unveiling a selection defined by restrained elegance and craftsmanship. Inspired by the gesture of an “embrace,” the Hug bag serves as the collection’s emotional centerpiece.

At the photo wall, actress Park Ji-hyun, Lomon, and Narin of girl group MEOVV attended to add star power, each interpreting Ferragamo’s seasonal styling in a different mood and presenting distinctive looks.

The overarching seasonal concept, envisioned by Creative Director Maximilian Davis, draws inspiration from the 1920s—modernly reinterpreting the spirit of the House’s early years and the liberated aesthetics of the Jazz Age, distilled through the RTW collection and the Hug bag.

Womenswear is expressed through exotic prints and textures characteristic of the Jazz Age’s Africana theme (a concept incorporating African cultural elements). Standouts include silk-satin “démoré” animal prints, fringe embellishments, and straight-cut slip dresses accented with lace cutout details. Menswear draws from the Harlem Renaissance’s zoot suits and a relaxed yet expressive dandyism. Graphic renderings and color blocking seen in illustrations of the era are reinterpreted for today through high-saturation patent leather, Gancini accents, and refined knitwear.

The iconic Hug bag selection for women arrives in new seasonal materials such as patent and woven leather, stamped croc, and nubuck suede. A folded foulard-motif bag finished in seasonal colors and prints is complemented by detachable Gancini hardware, while a wrist bag reworked from the archives is adorned with a golden Gancini clasp. Feather-trimmed bags and soft bags with fringe details are also newly introduced.

The men’s Hug bag selection comes in natural tan leather, black pebbled calfskin, and a warm dark-brown version featuring suede panels with woven-leather details, and can be styled handheld, crossbody, or as a messenger.

For women’s shoes, Mary Jane styles featuring sculptural heels and Vara bow details appear in a multicolor floral print. Satin boudoir mules add a full-bloom feel with beadwork embroidery, while stiletto straps are finished with satin bows. Men’s shoes include classic black Gancini loafers, alongside derby shoes inspired by archive styles and reimagined with a longer, sleeker silhouette. Glossy leather slippers and sandals also deliver an effortless, refined elegance.

Meanwhile, Ferragamo’s 2026 Spring/Summer collection is available on the official website and at stores nationwide.
